Next Step connects employees with a variety of services to supplement their needs and we’re always looking for new partners. If you can help, we’d love to you become a part of an employee’s life transformation.

Job Support

We see the potential in our employees even when others don’t. If they haven’t worked before, we teach them how. We mentor them throughout the work day about professionalism, being a team player and doing the job right the first time. We offer employees life training, give them the opportunity to earn good job references and equip them with the skills they need to be successful.

Employees are expected to show up to the jobsite on time and work hard, but we are accommodating with their schedules. Many have parole meetings or doctor appointments they’re required to attend. As long as we receive enough notice, we’re able to be flexible with their needs.

When making a life change it can be lonely, especially if you’re leaving everything you once knew behind. Our employees feel connected while working, but evenings, weekends, holidays can be lonely. Some need a person outside of the workplace they can build a relationship with, someone to check in to see how things are going or to hold them accountable. There is always a need for mentoring…if you have interest, or feel a call to get involved in someone’s life, please contact us.

Community Services

Next Step is continuously building relationships with organizations that offer services benefiting our workforce. Our employees’ needs range from housing to AA to educational training. We realize we can’t do everything, so we work with the community to connect our employees with services that will help them be successful long-term.

Bible Study

Next Step hosts a Bible study every Wednesday at 6:30am. We study God’s word, share stories of what God has accomplished for us and encourage one another. It is open to the community and anyone is invited to attend. It doesn’t matter if you’ve had a relationship with Christ your entire life or if you just want to see what it’s all about, everyone is welcomed.
